We landed in Holland on Tuesday morning after a 10 hour flight. I was a little bit nervous about how my body and baby would handle the flight, but I did pretty well. Take off and landing wasn't so great, but the rest of the flight was just fine, if a little long.
Mathea, one of my favorite mission companions, met us at the airport and we took a train to her house in Dreimond which is right outside of Amsterdam. After a quick nap, we were ready to go see the sights. She showed us around Dreimond and Weesp, a neighboring village. We were too in awe of actually being in Holland that we forgot to take many pictures, but we got a few around Dreimond. Mathea lives on "Herfststraat", or being translated from Dutch, "Herbst street." How fitting that we got to stay there!
